The Reverend Tim Ljunggren

Tim is also a writer, a photographer, a painter, a digital artist, a filmmaker, an editor, and a publisher. He is the founding edFr. Timitor and publisher of insolent rudder, an online electronic magazine devoted to flash fiction (stories of 1,013 words or less), which was chosen as a Literary Magazine Selection of Poets & Writers in April of 2002.  Tim served as the Senior Online Editor of WordSmitten and as an Assistant Editor of the Mad Hatters’ Review.

Tim’s own flash fiction has been published in such literary journals as Literary Potpourri, WordSmitten, Opium Magazine, Doorknobs & BodyPaint, and Fuzzynet. His published nonfiction work includes interviews with Jeff Kleinman (literary agent and attorney with The Graybill & English Literary Agency), Stephen Powers (senior editor of the Wiley Publishing Group), Jeff Pearlman (former senior writer for Sports Illustrated and author of the book, The Bad Guys Won!), and Chris Offutt (author of Kentucky Straight and No Heroes). Tim’s illustrations have appeared in the Mad Hatters’ Review, and his artwork and photography have been showcased in Literary Potpourri. His film work appeared at the Rough Cutz Film Festival in Boston, Massachusetts, in February, 2007.

Tim has facilitated numerous creativity clusters, utilizing such books as The Artist’s Way, Vein of Gold, and Walking in This World by Julia Cameron; Fearless Creating by Eric Maisel; and The War of Art by Steven Pressfield.
